Not at all. Sounds like they trust you to know what needs to be done. Are you comfortable bringing it up to your boss for confirmation?
Hahahaha. I admire agency people. I freelance from time to time but definitely think I am more of an in-house bird.
Depends on how many direct reports you have/how many meetings you’re in. I work on the brand side and talk to my director almost daily due to being on a team with them for projects. My marketing team is small so we are all very intertwined. At my previous job, brand manager, trade marketing manager, forecasting manager all reported to the director of marketing and they had regular meetings to discuss anything needed but didn’t need to have many emails outside of that (director was a friend so I knew their daily work routine).
Really depends on the type of company you work for, the amount of people reporting to you and their workload.
Great point. I have a team of 3 and interact with them all the time, particularly my marketing ops manager and our agency.
No, it's not a bad thing. You're probably not getting many emails from across the organization because your job is self-generated and you're doing a good job
