I think that you’re on the right track trying to get out of academics. Try using your CRAs as referrals or contacts to launch into your goal position. Also, recruiters are extremely helpful when you find the right one.

You willing to relocate? MD Anderson I’m Texas has a ton of positions in Research. They also put the pay in the job description.

Sadly, none at the moment. Hiring has been tough in the past few months.

I think the hospitals in Boston are more competitive but have better opportunities for clinical research

So I keep applying for leadership roles (supervisor and manager level). Keep making it to final interviews and I am not chosen. The feedback I get is they were very impressed with my interviews and they forward my resume to there colleagues for another leadership opportunity and I end up with the same results. They do include that they went with someone that had mgmt experience. The emails aren’t generic I may add. However I am not sure what else I can do to land a spot? Thoughts please!
