Because I have knowledge of a lot of stacks but don't have knowledge of anyone in depth making me feel insecure now.
Clerks, at what point in your clerkship did you start applying for jobs? I’m about halfway through a two year clerkship in my intended market and I am trying to figure out when I need to seriously start applying.
Is this a red flag… I am at my current boutique firm job and had a recruiter reach out to me asking me if I’d interview with a large firm they said was interested. I accepted the job and start next week. Before I signed the offer letter, we had a follow up call with HR. I was told there are special bonuses for hitting specific billables but they wouldn’t give me details until I signed the offer letter. Then after signing they said I’d get them soon as she was busy. Now it’s not till my first day
Had a phone interview with a CD and my potential partner last Tuesday. The recruiter said they would know within two days if I had the position. Didn’t hear back. Sent an email on Thursday asking ...

Anybody looking for an internal strategy consulting position at a health insurance company in Newark, NJ? I'm very close friends with the recruiter and I figured to pass this job along. They're looking for 2-3 years experience with a top management consulting firm or 3+ years of equivalent industry experience required. The role will pay up to $120K base plus 10% bonus. I know TC is low but figured to see if anyone's interested.
Looking for hope & exceptions with this situation my inlaw (German citizen) is in. They came over on Fulbright and now is on O1 but in exile back in Germany. I know it’s a long shot but has anyone been in this situation and transitioned to permanent US residency? They are married to a US citizen and have a kid (born in US). Immigration attorneys are not super helpful on precedent.
what's the salary range for Manager (11 years exp) at ZS associates? How's the work culture? Does the company provide wfh?
In search of recommendations for where to do egg freezing in the DC Area. Starting to consider the option. Thank you in advance!
Career benefitial way to give back to the community: collaborate with universities on grad student projects.
I've been on both ends of analytics capstones, and highly recommend this for long term projects. Exposure to real world data is huge for students, while companies gain from free outside ideas from a whole bunch of people including faculty, and potentially prime a hire or two if the stars align. Timelines are a challenge, but it's totally doable for ops/firm development moonshots.
Hello all, I'm a junior machine learning engineer and contract is about to end in about a month. So I would love to know some opportunities for which I can apply or get a refferal for the same.
I keep getting period-style cramps, even if I’m not on my period. I’ve been bleeding every two weeks for three months. Have an IUD but that’s nothing new. Two months out from COVID booster. Blood results have come back normal. Things to check that I may have missed?
Has anyone used someone to help with their resume? Also would love to chat if there’s anyone on here that’s at Microsoft. Thanks!

May have an opportunity to transition out of patient care into working remotely from home doing healthcare Recruiting. Would be a pay cut, is it worth it ?
I’m an LCSW with 7 years experience. Currently working as an EAP consultant for an insurance company from home. The pay is good but I hate being on a call queue and the schedule is SO rigid. As a working mom I’m wondering if there are other options for remote WFH positions in insurance out there that don’t require being in a call queue and having supervisors monitoring every single second of your day? I work so much better when I have time to prioritize my tasks and work at my own pace.
Just started a new job as an LMHC 7 weeks ago. It’s fee for service. Was told during the interview I’d have a full caseload always and have more stable clients. However, I’ve been getting at least 1 no show/cancel per day and found out that I don’t get paid for it unless the client pays. Now with these no show / late cancels, I have less clients and no new intakes are being put in my schedule even though I’ve alerted the intake dept several times. Is it bad I want to leave already?
I want to work remotely, but am needing ideas for what to put on my resume. I’ve been an RN for 15 years and have worked mainly in hospitals: med surg, and some work in LTC, SNF, ALF, hospice. I have a year of teaching nursing students in clinicals and labs, and some lecture teaching. Also, I have done regional advising at a call center for 7 months. Just how to put this on a resume to “sell” myself seems challenging.
Does anyone know of any remote positions hiring ? Preferably insurance verification, admin/clerical etc. I’m trying to apply to as many jobs as I can. Trying to leave my current job asap.
Does anyone work as a customer service analyst for HCA and if so what is/was your pay starting out? I’m really curious about this

Any advice on how to transition into healthcare IT without experience? I have a MS and MPH. Burned out on patient services roles. Hoping to make a transition before the year out. Actively seeking new opportunities.
120K per year dental on sight technician, lead 3D printer and Mil repair /Maintenance. 3-D Dental scanner trainer and technician. 120K sound about right? Living and working in Texas Dental Office with 8 providers.
Our employee satisfaction survey is tied to our performance goals. Meaning, if we rate management badly, we cannot meet 10% of our goals which in turn affects our bonuses and raises. We asked HR but they didn’t do anything about it. Is this normal? Is this legal? If not, what else can we do about it?
Registered dental assistant in Texas, I am looking for more information on pay and benefits through an orthodontics office. Currently I am making a very low hourly wage (just over minimum wage) with a monthly bonus that fluctuates a lot. In the past year the bonus has ranged from $900-$2400 after taxes. We get no health benefits however we do receive orthodontic treatment at no cost. Is this common for Texas orthodontic offices?
I’m thinking about leaving the clinical side of healthcare within the next year. Insurance dictating treatment is causing too much mental strain. Plus companies focused on the bottom line and not patient care
I’ve worked at the VA for two years and I feel like the managers are in a way stopping my growth. Whenever I want to learn something new or get training on a new specialty, they shrug me off and allow someone else to get it.
I’m a fairly new grad. Got licensed in January and started working in February. I moved across the state for this job taking my family with me. Now 4 months in it’s such a toxic environment. Unethical, unhealthy. I’m looking to apply to other places. Do I put this company on my resume to show I’ve been working since I graduated or is it worse to show I want to leave after only 4 months? Also, absolutely cannot have them contact my current job or use them as a reference. Put them or no?
