Compared to facilities which company (Samsung and Intel) provides best facilities? I know Intel has lot of benifits like free cab, child day care reimbursement, telephone bill reimbursement, 15% discount on shares purchase, very good leave structure, Free UDEMY for developing skills, Intel wiki for lot of knowledge gathering etc... Any idea about samsung? Intel Corporation Samsung

Stay off this app. Too many young people who had parents help flaunting net worth
Yep. People def make stuff up, even with comp. I truly appreciate this app because it helped me realize how much I am getting screwed, but ppl exaggerate.

I'm 36 and in debt.
STFU.
I am 42 and have less than that. I put mine in VTSAX. Catching up

That’s a very solid place to be and you should be proud of getting to that level. Some people will have more. Many, many others will have less. If you look at any survey or recommended wealth level for your age you’d be on solid footing.
From here the objective is to increase savings a bit more every year - or a lot more if you want/can.
I’m 30 years old, 80k in debt, which direction am I?
Right. Get your sh*t straight!
Look forward and don’t compare. How much do you need to save to reach your financial goals? Work towards that. Recommend maxing your 401k contribution as a general rule.
It can be lonely sometimes, but you can also expect that in any relationship I guess.
Yea your goals determine how you are doing financially only thing I would say is make sure you’re maxing out your Roth IRA as well
😊 then I will be left with what? 😭
Well another thing to take into consideration is how much you have in your IRA and HSA accounts

The amount really doesn’t matter (but kudos for saving that much so far!), your plan for the future matters much more. Max 401k, max IRA, max HSA, allocate the remainder between savings (<5 years - that goes to a high yield savings account), long term goals/retirement (throw into a target index fund - eg 2050), mad money and essentials, etc.

What about money that’s not 401k? I feel like you shouldn’t have every penny of your savings as 401k if that’s what you’re doing.

Not crazy then I guess. I have far less in 401k as compared to non-401k, but different folks different strokes.

If you continue investing just $10000 a year and beat inflation by 3.5% you will have $700000 in 2020 dollars when you are 60. While that wouldn't mean taking vacations to Hawaii every year, it can afford you a stable comfortable retirement.
100k with 35 more year to retire & if your investment makes atleast 7% per year in returns and u spend 1% in fees - you will end up with 1 million when retiring . So you decide where you are standing and what you need to do.
You and me, Op! I have 20k in a personal loan left but also, 18k in stocks but no other savings. Single, female but want a family down the line. Wondering how I’m doing!
I have some emergency funds in a family savings account so it’s common for the parents, brother and me
I’m 44 and have around 300k. I’ve been thinking about this too lately and if I can reach around 750-1000k by retirement with my wife having the same we should be good. You need to think about other aspects as well such as whether you’ll be paid off on your mortgage, need to help kids with college etc.
Save the max every year and it will be a fantastic start
I don’t know. I get bored living with the same person 😭🙃
