So I left my very toxic boss sometime last year & since then the boss & their boss have been stalking me on LinkedIn asking former colleagues which company I went to (haven't updated my LinkedIn). Then they started spreading rumours about me leaving them a bad review on glassdoor. Is there anyway I can protect myself legally? Folks who leave them wait at least a year before updating their LinkedIn profile because of how toxic they are. I hate having to "hide away" from them, what can I do?

Our company usually does performance evaluations in June of each year. Our pay philosophy is not clear. We usually give a COLA in January each year, somewhere around 2% and if an employee performed well, they get above the 2%. I have suggested we change our process to have a clear pay philosophy with increases tied to performance, with goals tied to overall goals of the organization. What is your process?
