People realize the recession is only just starting right? So far we have only had a few rate rises, with many more to come. Stocks are down a little, but only just barely into bear territory. Major companies will be reporting large losses soon, but that hasn't happened yet, and the market will react to that. No major companies have begun large layoffs yet, either, so far we are only seeing a few minor hiring freezes. And of course we haven't seen bankruptcies yet, but they are surely coming.

Here’s my take… Big Tech is about to turn into every other industry. Gone are the days of the over the top perks, huge comp packages etc. With valuations taking monster hits due to various headwinds (increased competition, regulatory pressure, consumer awareness and others), it won’t be the hot place to work for much longer.
