I am contracted with a client that I really enjoy working with. I have expressed wanting to join full time as a HR manager and they like the idea. However they haven't made any moves. How do I convince them that the scope of work is worth a full time HR manager. And how much should I ask in Salary.
What is total comp like at Oracle for a Presales Cloud Enterprise Architect role? Is something like 175k base salary and breaking 200k with bonus/rsu a reasonable opening number in negotiations? I know what AWS and Google pay but its harder to track down data for Oracle.
I want to pursue a product manager track as an exit from Consulting, then how can I get there?
Engagement partner has all but said it’s mandatory to travel for a project Im being onboarded. Although I’ve continued to get my covid boosters, I’m still very uncomfortable traveling and convening in group settings. I’m concerned about how this will play out if I push back, given all the layoff discussions flying around. What to do?
I have been in my position for 27 years and have never seen such a state of affairs as I have this year (but then, with the pandemic, who has, right?) Well, long story short, we've gone hybrid (some in person, some online). The teacher has been out with surgeries and covid. I have been teaching both groups at the same time. Sometimes a sub for help, sometimes not. I love the kids, but really?
Client extremely unhappy with project. Complained to the MD that my project lead has no idea what he’s doing. It’s only me and my SD on the project. This is my first project at the firm and first consulting gig (experienced hire). I made it a point to always ask to help the SD and he would ignore me. Now the MD wants to catch up with me Monday to understand what happened. How should I prepare? Do I present all the messages between SD and I where he blows me off every time I ask to help him?

I am currently in a PM role at a mid size firm in Austin. I’d really like to transition to a big tech firm (ideally apple, google or Microsoft) in the next 2-3 yrs. I have 6 YOE (1.5 year in PM). Is there a benefit to getting an MBA? I’m thinking weekend at Ross or Kellogg, or online at Ross.
Is it a big difference to have 4 YOPME w/MBA vs w/o?
Hi Fishes, I have a multiple offers from Rakuten, sinch and Deutsche Telekom. Compensation is more or less the same in every offer. I'm confused which organisation to join for continuous growth and stability as well.

For those actively applying I’m wondering how responsive companies have been. I’ve applied to some jobs and have heard nothing for close to a month now. Not sure if most companies will send you a denial email or not even reach out at all. I’ve had two frequent scenarios. The position I apply to closes, I get denied but the role reposts. The position I apply to closes, I don’t hear any response but the role reposts. Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts or experiences.
Can anyone refer me for finance/Audit role? I have 15 months work ex with EY and i am on NP right now
I'm considering pivoting to copywriting because that's the part of my role I'm best at -- a lot of the account management stuff is draining, but I can whip out social and marketing copy quickly & I enjoy it. Wondering if anyone has insight / leads on making the jump from accounts to the copy side when applying for jobs? 5 YOE, 3 in-agency with a mix of automotive and pharma + a side gig as a published author with muliple books (hoping that'll help on the creative / copy end?) Thank you!
If you had the option that move and work in the US from London, would you do it? Why or why not? There’s the big salary vs WLB tradeoff
Hi - I’m a lawyer based in the UK, and looking to improve my IP law knowledge. Has anyone done the PGDip in IP Law at Oxford? Or can anyone give any suggestions on some good courses / resources? My background is in transactional, but improving my IP law knowledge would really help with my role.
Also posted in the Law bowl but thought I’d also ask the pros!
Hi! I'm moving to AWS business ops L6. I'm coming from the energy industry, 8 yoe. I'm curious about internal mobility in AWS because as much as I enjoy business ops, I've also been involved in corporate strategy and business development in my current company and would definitely want to explore these in AWS too. Product management is also exciting since the scope covers what I like doing.
I'd love to hear insights on internal transfers in AWS. Thanks!

Congratulations to all the people getting a job offer in the past three months, but let me ask you a serious question.
Are you negotiating once you get the offer or are you just accepting it because you are so happy?
I understand that the fear is that they will take back their offer, but to be honest that will never happen.
If they made you an offer is because they have selected you over hundreds, if not thousands, of other applicants.

Got a new job offer as a corporate Physician Recruiter in the Minneapolis area. I have 7 years of recruiting experience, working for a company where I recruit Audiologists + ENTs. In the new role I'll be hiring advanced practitioners, family doctor MDs, and specialist MDs. Offer is for $86k base. No sign on no bonus, no annual bonus. Glassdoor and salary.com say median salary is between 90-93k but PayScale says median is around 75k. I was targeting 95-105k for my next role. Think I can get 95k?
I am a temporary HR generalist at a nonprofit in the DC area. The position will become permanent after December but I don’t know how much I will be earning. I have 6 months of HR experience. Over 6 years of customer service experience and a B.A. in business administration. I’m currently paid $25/hour. What should I ask for in terms of salary?
I received and offer that’s low because I’m not within 50 miles of the office. ( I’m 62 miles) I’m thinking it’s a 10-20% cut but that means I won’t be getting a boost in salary if I accept this role. I was anticipating 130k and only getting offered 110k. How can I negotiate my location only being a few miles outside the “zone”. Bay area
I would be the first recruiter for the company (just went public in Sept. So coming out of the start-up phase), and would lead a new ATS implementation, implement processes, and handle all of the recruitment responsibilities. I only have 1 YOE in pure technical recruitment (3 YOE total)… is 80k with a potential 10% bonus fair? Or should I be pushing for more given the role?
