Given two candidates competent at basics you're looking for, would you rather hire a candidate that...
1. brings up relevant topics beyond what you're "really" hiring for, but can't answer in depth follow up questions
2. sticks to the basics they know
Asking because I feel like it's pretty typical interview advice to do #2, but then that doesn't seem to reconcile with wanting ambitious and eager to learn hires. Thoughts?

Hello Folks at Nagarro ,
Is it normal that HR takes time ( more than a week or so) to schedule the next/final round. I have been chasing them for every task ( even for finding results of each round).
Do HR / recruitment team generally inform if the position is on-hold or they keep on stalling the candidate ?

Anyone ever pivoted from Sales to working in D&I? I’m 3 years out of college and realized I’m not super passionate about Sales. The last time I was really happy doing “work” was in college when I took an active role in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion related events/issues. What roles are there for entry level but some prior experience?
I have 4+ years experience as a SDET . Current stack is Python , shell scripting, selenium, UI automator etc. I am kind of happy with what I am doing and after switching my pay scale is also satisfying for me. If there are 10+ years SDET's out there please respond. I am a little anxious if I need to continue in the SDET role or switch to Development. After 10+ years experience in SDET what is the scope of salary we will get and how interesting is the work. Accenture Google Google Microsoft

Looking for fun ideas and traditions I can institute with summers and the other junior associates to increase moral and better connect with one another. Drop some fun ideas or experiences you’ve had.

I recently got married and we’ve been trying to have a baby for the past 3 months because we’re both eager to have kids. I feel like we’re not having sex (2or so a week) enough to catch the ovulation windows. We work a lot and sometimes we’re not in the mood for sex after a long day. I’m 27 and all I’ve ever wanted to be was a mom and now I feel like it’s starting to happen but I feel like work is getting in the way. Anyone else feel/felt this when trying or am I just overthinking it all?
After 9 years of being sober, my boyfriend just told me yesterday that he relapsed and started drinking again. I knew something was horribly wrong because for the past few months, he was aggressive, constantly calling me names, and acting manic (and weirdly, racist). I’m glad he has finally come clean but I don’t feel emotionally safe around him. Am I a horrible person for encouraging him to focus on his recovery but keeping his distance from me? We’ve only been together for 2 years.

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"
