I am currently in a tech team in UBS with 4 YOE, I have been offered an internal mobility role in a business team as data analyst with opportunity to work hands on some good tools. What is your opinion about it?

Considering an offer from Lewis Brisbois after not getting traction with other Am100 firms. Trying to make the jump into BigLaw from a small firm where I’m getting great commercial litigation experience working with and opposite BigLaw attorneys. I’m just looking for more money, better long-term career prospects, and job security (rainmaker is very near retirement age). Am I crazy? Any advice? Feel that I’ve put myself in a solid position experience wise. Don’t want to mess it up.

I work for a toxic company that doesn't seem to want to promote anyone on the legacy product or women in general. I haven't gotten a title change in years but I do the work of a Sr. Manager. None of us on legacy are allowed to start work on the new system which means everyone gets promoted around us. Option 1 - well known fintech company and about to go IPO. Will be doing corporate tax. Probably will turn into hybrid of WFH/coming into the office.

Option 2 - series A (been around about 3 years). Tax operation with high possibility of being exposed to other areas in accounting and finance of the company. Fully remote.

She gets so mad at the thought of taking medicine that she believes will change her brain. Any tips on how to talk to your daughter about something like this?
