All my life I was told that we should keep good contacts with our seniors. You never know who may help you out in need and provide you a good reference. 9 out of 10 times, whenever I needed a referral, the people who were my juniors helped me land a proper job interview. Can't recall how many times the seniors left me on read whenever I asked for help. I owe a lot to my juniors than I will ever to my seniors. It really pays to be well mannered to your juniors. They will acknowledge it!

Given that PwC has a policy against current employees providing references to other employees/ex employees for potential new job. Is there a policy against providing a screenshot of your career snapshot/grading (obviously crossing out any client mention or information)? I don’t want to be eliminated from the process if references is part of the hiring process. I was told verbally that I got the offer, then after I was asked for references. Not sure what to do…any advice?

Your resume is the last thing you should work on in your job search. HR departments have software that filters 1000s of resumes based on keywords. Don’t waste hours finding keywords for your resume so an algorithm “picks” yours. Don’t stuff your LinkedIn profile with keywords and hope a recruiter “finds” you. Build relationships with hiring managers and hr recruiters at your target companies. You’ll have a better chance landing the job if the people who will hire you know you already.
