Any recruiters on here preferably from big 4 ?
I am reaching out to you all and am looking forward to break into Investment Banking from Consulting. Applied to Goldman Sachs via a referral but my resume is stuck after HireVue. Talked to the VO who referred me and he said Goldman doesn’t hire in Q4. If that’s true and still need to be in GS, can someone forward my resume directly to the team? Their career portal sucks. TIA Goldman Sachs PS: I promise a dinner in a dance place in NY after I get hired as a sign of my gratitude 🙈
After accepting offer. They'll be fine. They'll still want you after the 3-6 months of having child and childcare pto
You are not obligated to disclose this during the interview/offer process and they are not legally allowed to ask.
If you want to give them a heads up, bring it up during the onboarding discussions when you talk to HR and/or your team.
If you were 8.5 months pregnant today you still don’t say anything until after you join. Your health and pregnancy status is not part of the interview process.
It is odd in today’s age this is even a question? Not sure where you live, but I sincerely hope you are not worried that disclosing this could cause a denial.
If that happens, you are better than that. It is a blessing in disguise.

I agree that it SHOULD be how you described A1, but the fact is if there are two qualified candidates it would be almost impossible to prove that one was denied due to pregnancy because people are smart enough to not go on the record. But it absolutely does happen & it’s despicable.
Treat it like a financial or IRS audit answer the questions you are asked and offer no additional information, ever.

Yes. Obviously. It isn't like you can hide/change this fact if you get an offer...

It is completely irrelevant to your interview process. Would you tell an employer if you had a chronic illness? No.
Don’t. Just continue with the process.
i am male, so slightly different, but i disclosed after the offer was made and before i accepted
No don’t disclose only disclose once you get hired
I know someone who negotiated Pat leave n it allowed him to take leave a month after on boarding
Do you know if the company has a tenure requirement to qualify for the benefit? I worked for a Fortune 50 before I came here and we had a 12-month waiting period to be eligible for paid maternity leave.
