I am currently interviewing with DoorDash for a Program Manager role and they are offering 140tc. This seems extremely low especially since I’m in a HCOL. Is that a fair salary? Or does DoorDash just pay low?

We’ve interviewed someone from DoorDash- strategy and ops manager who is looking for next step of 160k base + 10% super + bonus

This is in Aus but hope the info is somewhat helpful

like

Thank you!

6 years of experience for non tech- this sounds about accurate. If you’re getting equity on top, that’s good.

Agree, that sounds about right. You could probably negotiate for a bit more. But a lot of people looking right now...

What does 140tc mean? 140k total comp? Or something else?

Do you have info on the equity piece at all?

It seems low at face value, but you can always negotiate!

i am pretty good at my job but am not seeing fairness in pay and can't stand my department (cool kids club/good ole boy club). I am being considered for a HR Analyst role as we speak with potential of making $20k more (HR and Talent Acquisition are separate at my company). Where does one go from here? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!

I also know they can terminate me while I'm on STD and not protected by FMLA. If I give notice and they decide to terminate me on the spot, do I lose my STD benefits?

I’m not old BUT when I was younger I thought it was important to have all the alphabets after my name (I.e. Phr, SHRM and all the others). I learning that the younger crowd coming into the market thrives off these identifiers yet they know very little about the real world aspects of the job. I watch leadership roll their eyes at the email footers. I feel like keeping those attached to my name hurts my credibility so I removed them…. I’m I thinking wrong?
