I am currently not too motivated at work and obviously people noticed. I’m tired to be told that I cannot sell while my selling revenue metrics are higher than most other Partners or MDs. They gave me high metrics but low in comp.

Looking for opportunity to exit, and Appreciate any advice to go to industry from consulting.

If your sales are really higher then most partners, and you personally have brought those in and your clients would follow you, start selling yourself to other firms and take your clients with you. Sometimes, that's the only way to prove what you're worth. However, in some cases, if it's just sales credits where the client will only go to your current firm, then its just that the sales numbers are being flattered. Only you know what the real situation is.

yes some of them are my clients and I pull them in since we need to have more comprehensive solution. Some they will pull me (smaller amount). I have to chase my own projects not being “given”.

Isn’t that the same even for a team selling? When we have the same metrics and we all have to pull the same efforts to close the deal.

I failed CFA level 3 once.

I'm hoping to eventually do CAIA, but only after I'm done with CFA. I'm also hoping to do non-financial certifications, like Certified analytics professional (CAP), and learn about web development.

While I may have the title of manager, I am still an individual contributor. The type of work I do involves quantitative analysis/data analysis/science.

Any suggestions as to what I should start with?

I need some advice. I got a new job back in may of this year. Very excited for a new opportunity to learn some new things and get a higher paycheck. I started and have gotten a few projects but they haven’t consistently been giving me hardly any work to do. I’m not resourced enough. I told my manager I have a lot of free time. I also work fully remote. I am feeling very unfulfilled and not sure what I should do next. I am very self motivated and want to make great work but not sure what to do.

Hey guys,
I’m working at Management Solutions in my Rome since I have the desire to work abroad I sent my CV around the Europe.
Deloitte called me from Barcelona to schedule an interview with the HR.
The position is in the accounting sector of Deloitte DBS. They told me that the base salary (I’m an entry level) is 18k per year. In Rome I’m actually earning 28k+1k bonus.
Anyone knows why there’s such a great gap in salary? Tomorrow I’ll have the interview so any comments could be helpful. Thx
