Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

I believe the airplanes themselves are GRA (generally recognized as safe) but the airport itself is a problem. I would wear a very very good N95 mask and clear glasses. I would under no circumstances take off the mask within 30 feet of anyone and isolate yourself in the airport as much as possible. Personally I would stay in a bathroom stall the whole time until my flight was announced if i had to fly right now. Wash your hands. Don’t touch your face. You should be ok. If you have to go-you have to go. That’s not a sin! Even with the sarcastic comments here-we just all want you and everyone else to be safe. ♥️. Have you looked into jsx.com. Semi private airline and prices are reasonable. If they have your flight i highly recommend and prices are competitive with commercial prices surprisingly. Even then paying to reduce the risk has no price. Small private lobby to wait - check 30 min prior - and planes with @ 30 business class seats. I’ve flown it precovid and they are fantastic. Just throwing it out there as a safer alternative since you avoid the masses at the general airport.
Let’s try to all love one another and be kind. We need to help one another be safe even if we sometimes don’t agree.
Airports aren’t that big of a risk. They have lots of space so it’s easy for people to spread out. I’d be way more concerned about other activities associated with travel like the Uber to the airport (if applicable), eating at restaurants, visiting friends and family, etc.
They will let you fly out. Make the decision you think is best.
CDC guidelines say 7 days with a negative test and no symptoms can substitute a 14 day quarantine. I know New York has a similar policy. Consider doing the same in California if that will make it easier to stick to the quarantine

They’ll let you fly and we have no enforcement in place to make sure you quarantine. Sure if you’re positive you may end up like that couple who flew to Hawaii from SFO and got arrested once they landed or if not as extreme as that, you’ll continue to escalate our covid count and put us in even deeper restrictions here in CA but you know, enjoy your trip ✌️

Sorry about the family matter. I would still try to quarantine if possible.
They will let you fly out. The fines are only in place if you infect a large group of people and they can prove it was you. No one is checking who is coming in and out.

Another risk to consider is that you get COVID at some point during your travels and then have to quarantine at your own expense / can’t get back when you need to be.
