Hi everyone, I am 4.9 years experienced , I joined Fractal 3 months ago as a data engineer, but still haven't got any project. Process is so slow that I have received only 4 to 5 project calls. I switched in hopes that will learn the new tech and tools. But now i am starting to forget even the one i knew. Should i go for change or wait a little more time as fractal is reputed in AI/ML? I have interview lined up with Impetus as for now. Would it be better choice?

Tata Consultancy Hi fishies, I recently interviewed for a Big data dev role for Autodesk but it's via a third party called Applicantz. Initially the contract is for 1 year, which can be extended. There is also scope of Autodesk hiring permanently after 6 months or 1 year. Can anyone provide some reviews about Autodesk and third party Applicantz. Usually I would not have considered anything via a third party, but the company(Autodesk) seems great and work discussed seems good as well.

Anyone wonder what clouds feel like
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Oddly phrased question. A question to you is what industries excite you?
D1 I love researching emerging tech, learning the newest tech trends, designing new solutions, automating complex tasks.
As far as specific Industries… logistics always seems to beckon me as does anything with data analysis and or pattern / trend detection.
Anything that excites you is a good industry.
Most of the firms you named divide their services into certain sectors(i.e. FS, TMT, CNR, HIA, ENR, Industrial Products, etc. ). You can be aligned to one industry of your choice but initially it's sort of a soft tagging.
So pick one industry and try to build a good knowledge of that particular sector and you are good to GO
