I am debating my first watch purchase. I want a watch that I can wear daily. I really like the Hamilton Khaki Field. It seems to have a respected following in this bowl. Which strap does everyone like? Or a suggestion for another watch in the same price range

Hey all, I'm approaching my 1yr anniversary in my current role, and I'm curious of what I should expect in terms of a raise.

I started at $57k base last year, with OTE of $70k

I received a small raise at the start of this year, along with a new comp plan so current numbers are $59k base and ~$80k OTE.

This role is in a life sciences vertical. SDRs in this vertical w/ a year of experience average 60-70k base.

I'd like to land at $65k, thoughts?

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

When I enquired about offer letter last week, hr replied in mail that "Since your education under blacklist with cognizant, we are unable to process with your offer. Many of college alumni are already working with cognizant. Even mailed them what part of education is blacklisted but they are not replying.should I still expect offer letter from them?

How long would you expect to wait for a watch after putting down a deposit? AD took a 20% deposit on a special order piece a month ago and they don’t have a shipping timeframe. It’s an Omega special edition, so not something super rare.

It’s kinda scary that after doing about 2 weeks of watch research, bigger and bigger numbers start fazing me less and less.
