I am due to graduate in the Spring with my BS in Health Services Administration. My goal is to get my MSW, however I was wondering what careers I could get into with my BS in the meantime as MSW is not something I am jumping into right away.

Maybe something in records? I don't think that generally requires an MSW.

Start with any supervisory role in a department in a hospital or health services. You already have valuable information and knowledge to share 👍

~salary question~
*Any resources to research salary expectations are appreciated*
I’m currently expecting an offer this week for an underwriting role at a mid-sized mutual in NJ. I have 3 years mid-market commercial underwriting experience at a smaller mutual company in NJ (+ prior summer internship and insurance degree). What should I expect for salary? I’m thinking 75k? Where can I research this kind of thing?

Interested to see some perspectives - currently working at a Payroll & Benefits Specialist at a fast growing company and recently passed my PHR! I just started this role only a few months ago but am already feeling like I can take on more, but not as much as a HR manager. I’m struggling to understand where exactly it is I can go from here. I’m 25, have 3 years of experience, and get paid $59k/year.

Where does one go from here? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!

Feeling really stuck in my job… part of it is a toxic work culture that’s dragging me down but in the end I don’t think it’s what I want to do (associate buyer in the retail world).

Outside of work, I coach and am a director for youth and high school sports. It doesn’t make enough to cover expenses full time but it’s my true passion.

Anyone have advice or careers where they feel work life balance/flexible work schedule works with coaching?

Should I be concerned for my career with lack of billable projects? Background: Analyst hired out of undergrad in July 2020. I have worked on 3 proposals in the last 2 weeks, and 5 in the last 2 months. In the past year since I was hired, I have 8 months of billable work which is actually slightly higher than the other Analysts I joined with. Should I keep collecting paychecks and hoping for projects, or is this a serious issue that should prompt an exit strategy?

I am currently working on my MBA in a professional evening and weekend program at a highly accredited university. I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

Any experienced senior managers that have moved between Big 4 firms? Can you speak towards your experience, any struggles, and opportunities in terms of partner promotion? Frankly, EY path to partner seems to be too clouded (long pipeline, no clear direction/path, uncertainty on promotion cycles, etc.) at the moment and I would like to visit all options. Appreciate the input.
