How much do you help a client long after the project is finished? Context: client from my project 6 months ago just reached out with questions on assumptions used for the model. The associate who built the model is gone and i do not remember much about the assumptions, but the client wants a call to review them
Dear men: stop asking your female peers to schedule meetings for you. It’s a bad look. Just sayin’.
Hello 🐠, I have been on a project that I do not like, has absolutely obliterated my work life balance, and put me under a lot of stress. Not to say this doesn’t happen a lot in our job, but I have an opportunity to go back to an old client that I loved. My current project leadership knows the date I’m set to roll off, but have been hinting they won’t let me leave because I’m good at my job. I am so desperate to leave and have been advised by multiple colleagues to do so. What do I do??
If I’m thinking of applying to a client I worked on in tax do I need to let anyone know before I apply? Is it okay to wait if/when I receive an offer?
This week SUCKED and i spent the entire trip home talking myself into thinking positively. Told myself next week would be great, my mood picked up, and then I saw an email from a client that has already f’d my Monday. 🍻 everyone!
Hi CGians, I have recently joined Capgemini Invent and working in a support project. People are already onsite from my account and in my team all people are working here for more than 3- 4 years. So my chances of getting an onsite from here seems 0. What steps can I take to get on-site in the near future or how can I see switch projects for an onsite opportunity
Received an offer from McKinsey & Company and am super stoked to join, but I’m getting quite criticized in my personal life for the decision mostly because of the public image of the firm. I get where they’re coming from, but figured most of the consulting industry was like this, not just McKinsey, and strategy work is what really interests me. Any tips on how to deal with it?
I need to learn how to do Time Series forecasting in R this weekend for a project. Does anyone have a favorite YouTube video or resource that got them up to speed quickly? I haven't done this type of analysis before.

I recently Accenture just been few months, initially my training started in Java domain and then suddenly they put me in a development project and the technology is PHP. I'm struggling to establish boundaries on my project. I get new work assigned at 6pm most days and I'm told they need done by the next day. I start at 7am everyday. Anyone have advice on what I can say to leadership? I seriously can't be working 7am to 11pm every day, my personal life/family is really taking a huge hit. I don't mind the occasional long day, but consistent 14-15 hour days aren't gonna fly anymore.
Interviewing for a senior project manager role in Salesforce CSG. Can anyone tell me about the role, culture, WLB, etc at Salesforce? Is WLB and culture really as good as they claim?
Accenture CN peeps, my manager has not been able to staff me to a project for 2 weeks now after my release from one of the projects where the role as as good as content manager’s. I had voluntarily asked for my roll off as the role was just to upload come content on various platforms. They tried allocating me to some internal project but I asked them to staff me on a client facing project. Has anybody hopped over from an MBB/T2/B4 type of firm to a boutique? Thoughts /perspectives? Would appreciate either a push off the ledge or a pull away from it. Generally fed up with the long hours, lack of project variety, and the firm’s small practice and lack of focus in my interest area and wondering if things would improve at a boutique that specializes in what I want to do.
What city should I move to for a month (February)? Only requirement is that it must be in the US and must have reliable internet for remote work. Preferences: (1) Some place I don’t need winter clothes (2) Some place walkable / won’t need a car for the whole time. I’ll go with the most liked suggestion
Is WLB better at S& than MBB/Tier2 or worse? I feel like it’s probably the latter because of Utilization/PwC culture, but want to validate.
Breaking point! Help! I'm really struggling to find pace with taking care of my child and working full time. My wife and I are basically tag teaming all day and just going through the motions. Giving only 10% at work and feel like I am losing it. Wife and I both are back logged and managing child plus job and household chores etc is getting to us (to me atleast). How do you all manage? Advise?
I really don’t understand the hate against Diversity and Inclusion efforts. I grew up hearing my parents worry about being passed over for promotions and denied opportunities, due to race. It’s a real concern for black professionals.
What was something you wanted as a kid that your parents couldn’t afford and/or didn’t buy for you?
Have an interview for an SAP Level 10 (I think if not 9) role for Accenture Federal? How much should I expect the offer to be?

1. We should wait until the results of the IRS audit to know the full picture 2. The IRS have been very unfair to the President 3. Why is the NYT releasing this information now? Why not six months ago? 4. All this shows is that President Trump knows how to outsmart the IRS like any billionaire 5. President Trump donates his salary 6. He had a loss in 2016 because of the terrible Obama economy 7. Sleepy Joe has dementia!

Panicking and need some guidance. Currently on a project where I serve a SME for a specific system for overall gap analysis across modules. CAL however has somehow looped me into leading discussions in areas I have no experience in. Fortunately there is time to buffer and align expectations on Monday. How could I convey being extremely uncomfortable with leading the discussion and also save face? Only caught wind of what was actually happening when I digged into the invites provided
Any kid birthday party theme ideas?
