You don’t necessarily need to to stay there for that duration of you know you can get a better offer. I suggest looking for an other offer but in the meantime just stay put. That’s my opinion.
I would start looking for jobs after 1 year
Same, 1 year is a good amount of time to stay and if you start looking around then, you'll likely get an offer within 3-6 months so you'll actually have been there 1.5 years in all
I would recommend staying at least 1 year to help you look stable on your resume, but 3 years isn't necessary if you're able to secure an attractive offer at another company.
Give them a year, keep learning and see what they have to offer at that point in terms of hike. If it's not worth it, then leave for other opportunity.
Thank you all for your opinions. I have already stayed here for 5 months, so I have decided that I will look for other opportunities when I finish one year.
