My current job role is Digital marketing Specialist with 3.6LPA. Im trying to shift my field of work into AWS cloud for which I have been preparing to crack AWS cloud Practitioner, followed by AWS Solutions Architect Exam.
My question is, say if I become AWS certified and start applying for the job in that particular field, then what salary can I quote or pitch for keeping in mind that im AWS certified applicant?

Hi fishes. Is it a fact that PWC payscale is relatively low compared to other Big4s?

I have been approached by PwC HRs twice in last 2 months, both times they did not even shortlist me stating that my expected CTC is high.

My profile:
YoE =6.5yrs + 2yrs tier2-MBA
CCTC=16.5
Expected CTC= 1.4x

2nd time they approached, I even brought down my exp CTC to 1.3x. Still they said PwC does not have budget.

I already have offer of 1.45x from another Big4. Its only PwC that is not budging. :(

Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs). I have a BS/MS/PhD in engineering and an MBA in business analytics. Currently making 100k as an engineer IV. As an engineer with a functional knowledge (but no former training) in IT and data analytics, what are the best avenues to get to 200k without changing fields and starting at an entry level position (or moving to a HCOL area)?

Evaluating an offer from EY. I would be joining at Senior 1 level in their Workforce Advisory practice (specifically, learning team). I have 3.5 YOE in Deloitte in the same practice (offshore USI team in India).
They are offering $70k CAD. I have an MBA and live in Toronto. I feel this offer is very much on the lower end - even despite the upcoming recession etc.

I am graduating MBA in 2 weeks and have two offers on hand, one from Amazon in their Finance Leadership Development Program and another from Marcum LLP for Transaction Advisory Manager. Please advise - with approved I-140, you can extend H1B for 3 years even if priority date is current? I already have an approved Audit Manager PERM (May 2021) but was not promoted to Manager this year. Instead of filing I-140, my employer wanted to restart a Senior PERM. I would like to push back to let them know to just file I-140 for Audit Manager. But can you let me know if that will extend 3 years so that I still have time to make it to Manager. My PD is current, I am not Indian/Chinese.
