I am giving an interview for other company which required me to prepare some deck and share it with interviewer. Just wanted to chk if this breaks any compliance issues causing legal troubles.

I won't be sharing and confidential data. All I need to share is about my expertise and how can I support their firm.

I recently interviewed for a position that was below my salary requirements so the interviewer forwarded me a role that is inline with salary but quite a bit outside of my skill set (and interest, tbh). How do I politely reject the opportunity while keeping the door open to other roles more closely aligned with my career goals/interests?

I work with a mid size nonprofit in rural Appalachia, currently I am trying to hire a bachelors level social worker but have had a hard time brining in applicants. Unfortunately we don’t have a ton of money to throw at the problem but was looking for other ways to make the job stick out compared to similar postings.

Any advice on how many slides a ~15min tech interview presentation should be? I know there’s no perfect number but is like maybe 8-12 slides good enough? Context is this is for higher up like we’re talking Directors+ and they’re very smart in tech with phd’s.

I had a really weird interview for Creative Director today.

It’s a small startup. HR interviewed me and asked all the hard hitting questions (how do you get design inspiration, how do you deal with design roadblocks, what sets you apart for this role?) which I thought was odd for a screening interview.

They made some affirmative noises then said the next step would be a design test (one pager) which I would present to a panel of interviewers including the CMO.
Anyone else think this is odd?
