Oh, well. Whatever. Nevermind.
Looking for referrals to Facebook (Meta) if anyone can help me out! I applied for their Associate General Counsel (Commercial) role and I am coming from a publicly traded company where I have been the Regional Counsel. 10 years experience in-house, 5+ doing commercial contracts. If you’re willing to refer me please DM me and we can work something out! Thank you!

Big 4 has PPEDD roles, Partners (cpa) and Principles (non-cpa) have ownership equity in the firm and are identical roles (our system calls it Partner/principle no distinction), and Executive Directors (client facing) and Directors (non-client facing) have almost similar level of prestige but are non equity holders so essentially highly paid employees but still important. On client serving side, PPs have higher sales expectations and EDs have higher managed revenue / delivery expectations, which typically (but not always) means PPs are more account-focused whereas EDs are more delivery- or offering-focused. One big factor to consider (beyond comp) is that PPs have a fixed retirement age
Do you mean partner (equity) or executive director (non-equity) as comparison? Very different routes here vs ACN as public company
Hi Ey1 thank you for the response, i would love to know about both if you’re in the know. Im interested in how the market pans out in comparison and what the benefits/costs are for this level in the related industry. Thanks!
What type of consulting? I am an ED but in the financial side so pay and work is very different
I am also in financial services on management consulting or strategy side. I’m in MC but do a lot of strategy work so would align to both and Happy to hear both
Cons of Big 4 are the independence restrictions and the protocols and controls to protect the firm. I spend more time on admin and risk management than I would like. I prefer to focus on client facing and team matters. That said, Big 4 pays better than boutiques. I would think Accenture pays better than Big 4.
At Accenture, is Managing Director the same as a partner at Big 4? MDs in Big dont have equity. They are highly paid employees
Oh yes sorry I️ didn’t know that . MD at Accenture = Partner . It would be great for all of us to educate each other. I’m learning more about being MD here now but don’t know a ton yet.
The only perks are pay and retirement. What do you mean by perks?
