I've always been a fan of glenfiddich 21 for special occasions. It will need a small amount of water or ice to open up tho

Not to be the FB police or anything, but if you read the post just below yours, you will get a lot of good ideas.
I realize you just want a good celebration bottle, but if you’re trying to get into scotch, there are some pretty significant differences between the regions. I’d recommend picking up 3 or 4 quality picks from different regions rather than a single big bottle. For example, my taste is toward the Islay strands. Lagavulan and Ardbeg both have great picks in the $120 range.

Also if you are a fan of Macallan (i.e. sherry flavor) and like oily mouthfeel, Macallan Rare Cask is worth trying. It glides down your throat.

Laphroaig 25 is pretty good and in that price range.
Congrats. What do you like, and what do you dislike? I might suggest the Balvenie Mash Tun, but you might not like whisky with any Sherried flavor.
My go to favs - aberfeldy, macallan 12, glenlivet 14, laphroaig
