Not a corp. It's a partnership. Sad!
Ha! I love it - forgot that was his name! Sad of me!!
Change the team. It’s a big corp. Speak with your coach and move to the different team
Work people are weird. Don't get anxious over this OP.
Feedback is a gift. However, it needs to specific, not personal or emotional, and actionable. “I don’t like your management style” isn’t useful feedback. Identify the major actions you dislike and what you think your manager should do. Set up a one on one and ask to exchange feedback. Acknowledge that the working relationship has been problematic and seek improvement. You can get better and so can they.
I wouldn’t talk about one manager to another unless they’re your career advisor and there’s a notion of confidentiality. I would set a time to discuss this with the manager. I would have soMe points written down and rehearsed. This is the most honest and direct way of handling it as well as a time to grow in direct professional communication
Tell your PML. They can help coach you through this, and work to switch teams if necessary
You shouldn't feel anxiety, giving feedback is necessary so you did the right thing. The manager can't retaliate on your feedback otherwise he/she can get in trouble. I know at pwc We have ethics hotline and policies to protect employees from upper management retaliation (for reporting them), I'm sure kpmg should have something similar?
