I am in commercial litigation and I want to move to securities compliance. How do I make this transition? I have no business experience, and I have been practicing for 1.5 years. Do I need to go back to school for an MBA or an LL.M. to show that I am business oriented?

No, I just applied. I’ve been in there for years and is a much more decent life than litigation. Sometimes too boring for an ex- trial lawyer.

Hello, I am a Staff 2 in EY. My current salary is 26.5k EUR (I work in Italy) in apprenticeship. In March/September I should be promoted to Senior.

I just received a job offer for the transaction services financial due diligence division FDD of Mazars

They offered me a permanent contract with a salary of 31k EUR.

What do you think I should do? Wait until senior in EY or accept this offer?

My fear is that if i go to mazars they won't make me senior in a year and that my resume will lose appeal.

I’m a 2nd yr staff at EY, Cyber tech consulting, and I’m looking to exit. I’m leaving bc I feel like consulting is not for me & I’ve had pretty negative experiences w/ my projects.

I know people have recommended not to leave yet since I haven’t hit senior yet but I honestly cannot hang in. Does anyone have any advice/tips/similar experiences that you can share?

Maybe this isn’t the place to post, but I don’t really know what to do. I just found out that I never graduated.. two months after graduating. My advisor forgot to turn in 3 credits and now the only way to get my diploma is to pay $3,700 for an unpaid internship credit. What would you do? Because I’m about to start a Twitter thread and post all the Tik Toks my advisor was posting while she was “too busy” to remember to turn in one document.
