Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

Hi Fishes! Does anyone have a not too expensive alternative to Becker for CPA prep? I’m studying for FAR, but Becker is making me highlight the whole textbook and the concepts are just so heavy lol. I graduated with a degree in Business in 2018. I’m planning to pursue a Masters in Engineering (likely will pair with MBA) and have been taking the required pre-reqs over the last year from community college.
Is there a big difference between MEng and MS degrees? Or about the same?
I started off looking in going into Mechanical Eng but now looking more into Civil & Environmental.

I'm looking for part time sales development and market research roles in the UK. I have totally 6.5 years sales development experience in SaaS sales and currently pursuing MBA. It'd be great help if you can refer me or share job openings so I can apply! Open to connect to have discussion.

Does having a PMP certification hold any water in digital media? Do folks care? I’ve been using PMI resources to help solve problems / improve stuff at my org, and I’m tempted to get the full cert but I’m not sure if it’d actually mean anything / have a meaningful impact on my career or pay.
It’s not a huge investment in time or money but if it doesn’t have much of an impact I’d rather just keep reading free resources online on my own time
Is CIPD a valuable certification? Is it appreciated in Europe only or US too? I have an opportunity to get it but not sure if knowledge is really up to date and worth time spent.

I’m unhappy in consulting, but not sure if it’s really about the profession/lifestyle or no longer wanting to work more generally? Having trouble identifying any alternative I’d prefer, regardless of income. Is this a normal mid-life phase?
I’ve been in consulting for the past 15 years and I’m now exhausted. Not because of the work but because the Millenials on my projects spend less time doing the work and more time complaining about how the role doesn’t gel with their career goals. How do you deal with this and control your tone so you don’t curse them out on a daily basis?
