How to get over imposter syndrome? Came from consulting and moved into a program manager role and I’m the first hire in this role and have the potential to build out a team and make lasting impact. Its week 1 and I feel like I’m in way over my head! How do you shake this feeling? I know I can do the job but I am sometimes my own worst enemy when it comes to pushing myself outside my comfort zone. Hubs has been helpful in hyping me up but I still feel so imposter-y.
How much does it slow down (or speed up) your career if you chose to be a generalist i.e. not specialize in any one area. Do MBB still hire general consultants or is focus squarely on experience?
Do you have a place where you're able to lock up your stuff in your classroom? I don't and I'm not sure if I should make a big deal about it.

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Confession - I don't want to go back to office. I'm happy working from home and find no solid reason in stepping back. I hope the flexi work culture allows permanent WFH - I don't have a "good enough" reason, but I don't want to go (isn't this good enough?) It's been 1.5 years now, too comfortable to step out from my PJs to jeans.
