I am in public accounting and I got pulled into the Audit department to help out. I didn't have much of an option because there was no project available and I needed to get billable hours (I am under Acct and Fince Consulting). The problem now is I've completed my work and I am still not billing as I had hoped. I was informed there's plenty of work, but not seeing it. Am I missing something here? I haven't been informed I am not doing my job properly.

I have always filled the Timesheet under "Unassigned task" with Non billable hours as 9hrs. But from today it is showing that Non Job Activity should be less than 4 hrs. Hence i am unable to fill timesheet. Please help me what to do?
