Any Spotify people here? Noticed there’s an AM role going at the moment in the UK but not sure what experience level it is. For reference I’ve got 6 years in ad sales experience with 3 years management (both in music industry). Would this be comfortable or is it worth holding out for AD?
I currently work as a biomedical scientist but I want to change my career; so far I’ve done Salesforce Sale cloud consultant and Administrator exams and I am certified. I’m currently studying for the Service Cloud consultant certification .
So I would really appreciate if anyone could refer me for entry level roles in salesforce . I live in London, but I’m happy to relocate . Here’s my LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/modupe-olotu and the link to my online Portfolio https://mbosalesforcehow-to.carrd.co/

@OP, for PjM roles, I don't think tech companies necessarily look specifically to hire from tech. Project management skills are very transferable across the board. Some tech companies recently instituted hiring freezes which might affect the ease of getting a role, but it's absolutely doable.
Keep applying, connecting to recruiters (and employees) on LinkedIn once you see roles you're interested in. Tweak your resume to reflect strong PjM skills and cast your net wide. Apply to many many companies in your industry of interest. Even if you don't like the first tech role, just get it in your resume and plan your next move in about a year or two. I've seen many such transitions so it's very doable.
@SPA1, you do not need coding experience for PjM roles. But it's definitely a good skill to have if you want to pivot into SWE, technical PdM, or want to focus solely on technical PjM... mostly in the sense that you'd easily follow the conversations but not a needed for your job.
I'd strongly suggest to tweak your resume to include project management in either the job title or role description for your previous roles if you did something remotely related to PjM.
With tech they usually look for someone from tech, maybe you can highlight projects you’ve done in your role that dealt software or IT side
Yeah I have been running into that problem that they only want people with tech experience.
OGGN tech podcast. Listen to it and reach out to those people and network
How is the oil industry, I’m in manufacturing- supply chain and have wanting to switch oil and gas and/or renewables, basically energy
Where are you located?
Ok. The role I’m aware of is in Chicago. They prefer hybrid, but I’ll DM you so you can check them.
What kind of roles in tech are you looking towards? Some are easier to join than others when coming from the outside.
