What are some exit options for litigators that aren’t connection-driven? I think we all know the standard set of options (fed govt, in house, lobbying, govt relations), but in litigation those jobs are VERY often filled through networks. What’s out there where a litigator is competitive and where a good portion of positions are filled based on just strength of resume and interview? I recently posted here about finding how underpaid Im compared to my peers and subordinates.I need help. I’m so angry and bitter (describes me the best right now) that Im unable to work with the same enthusiasm as before, not able to be ‘nice’ and help everyone that asks, in fact when the peer of mine (earns $20k more and does less than half the work) asks me questions, i just get so impatient. How do I fix this. I just want to do the bare minimum, but that’s just not me. Help pls 😰

I'm currently the Staffing Specialist at my company. I've only been in the field and in my position for 9 months and plan to take the SHRM-CP test in the fall. While I feel confident in what I do, I don't feel so confident in my overall knowledge of HR.

Would my bosses let me move to work in a different state? I work as an internal consultant within KPMG, working for the firm within the internal HR team. I have been with KPMG for 5 months but I am wanting to move back home to be with my family - on the other side of the country.
