Does KPMG healthcare solutions practice hire students with business backgrounds such as finance, or are they mostly focused on those with science/healthcare admin coursework when making interview selections? Google goes above and beyond to accommodate for this kind of stuff. I say apply. Could it hurt your chances? Maybe, if all other factors are equal. But I doubt it’ll be a make or break.
thanks
Do not feel that you need to tell anyone about your pregnancy while interviewing. This is one area where WFH has perhaps leveled the playing field for women.
My colleague got hired and started at 6 months pregnant, left 2 months later for mat leave. Google hires for the long haul view.
I wouldn't worry about it. The application process itself can take months, and it's hardly unusual for people to push out their start dates by several months.
You do not have to disclose your pregnancy while interviewing and no one should be asking, either. Agree that Google hired for the long haul. Good luck!!
A girl on one of our teams got a rushed offer from the recruiter when they found out she was in labor and she literally accepted from the hospital. She gave birth the next day, so her first day employed at Google was also her first day of maternity leave. They rushed it to give her the benefits before the baby was born. You have NOTHING to worry about, move forward with the interview !
thank u all. These messages make me feel better in applying.
