I really believe it will enhance my career and have a plan to pay for it but now I fear I'm getting cold feet out of fear that I'll fail the class or that it will turn out to be a scam.\n\nAm I just engaging in self-sabotage? Fear of success? Imposter syndrome? Are my fears/reservations real or should I just go for it?",

As to the scam... that’s a legitimate concern. Where did you find this course? Also, how much does it cost?
Around $2000 - and only because I'm skipping the GIS module since I use GIS sites all the time. If I did that it would be about $2400.
And this is just the video only version. If I did the live class (that only starts in mid to late March) it would be an extra $1000...

I wont say it looks like a scam BUT i'm a little skeptical about $2000 worth it ! It looks like a relatively new website/company. Just take your time do your research a bit more befe you sign up .
Did you lookup any other websites for similar courses ?
Because I'm a real estate valuation consultant (basically, an appraiser) and the industry is gradually being taken over by algorithms.
Something like 80% of the functions of a commercial appraiser can be done by technology right now let alone in 5-10 years.
I've spoken to recruiters who've told me that that's demand for people wish a firm knowledge of both real estate and technology but that person doesn't normally exist. A course like this could give me rare and very valuable skill set...
