I am into Quality Assurance since last 7 years, will an executive MBA now help in moving up the hierarchy?

Personally I don't feel that an MBA is an appropriate way to climb the ranks in this case. As a fellow software dev, it's like a scapegoat.

You move up the hierarchy by proving yourself, asking for more work, going above and beyond. If you've already done so and haven't moved up in 7 years, it's time to move on to another group.

As an engineer, the fastest way up the chain is thru experience and projects. Unless you're at a firm that literally says you have to have an MBA to get the next position, there's no point.

You need to reflect on your experience. Why haven't you gotten a promotion? You have to be honest with yourself. Maybe it's even politics at play, who knows. Getting an MBA won't get rid of politics.

I am a Manager at a big 4 international tax considering switch to M&A Tax in another big 4 or a prestigious firm International Tax group but with more structure work. Which one is better for a long-term plan (~2 years) of going to private with a mid/upper management position that is not compliance oriented? As for me, I was heavy on compliance until recent and wanted to focus on getting planning experience and management skills forward. I am a CPA and an attorney, but not a JD.

Looking for advice on where to head next. Now I'm mostly working with Azure Databricks, SQL, and a little bit of Ansible CI/CD.
After 12 months I can influence where my next role is and I'm wondering what is the best career direction.
The next role can include
C#,
APIs,
React,
DevOps / Ansible,
Or more Azure Synapse & Databricks
Which of these languages / technologies is good for my future in tech? Or does it matter?

What kind of Masters program would you recommend for someone hoping to make it into a senior leadership/executive role in Comms/PR? I have over 6 yrs of experience in Comms in public/private sector. However, I haven't had any formal education in Comms/Journalism which I have felt always put me at a disadvantage. My question is, is there an advantage of doing a Masters to improve my chances of getting into a leadership role? If so, would an MBA be better than a Masters in PR/Comms?

Hello,

I am currently a Health Admin Fellow at a leading healthcare system. I am in a phase during my fellowship where I will have to start searching for a role within the system in the next 3 months.

I was wondering what kind of role would be best step forward for an admin fellow.

I was offered a project coordinator role but feel I should not accept the same without looking at other options. I aim to seek out a project manager role and was wondering if this would be the wrong step forward.
