Hi All, I’m currently in the interview process with AFS in DC for a job level 9 consultant and during the phone screening I asked for 110K. I currently work in Richmond for 90K for Infosys. moving to a higher COL, if AFS were to give the 110, would that be a negative change in salary? If so, should I ask for more? YOE: 2 years

Newbie here: Given the blood bath over the past few weeks, is it a good idea to sell investments? Have invested my 401k and HSA amounts as well.

I have money in my traditional IRA and have been contributing to my 401k with post tax contributions. Every so often I move money from my 401k to my Roth IRA since I can’t directly contribute to it. Assuming I had no gains on the after tax 401k contributions, will I be taxed on part of the money since I have money in my traditional IRA? I keep reading that you shouldn’t have a traditional IRA open when you do the backdoor roth. Not sure if it’s related to the pro data rule.

I’m looking to transition from healthcare management (clinical and PM work) to healthcare consulting. I’m based in ATL and actively looking. I have about 5 YOE and have worked with senior management. Any insight or leads? I have done a lot of research on boutique, medium size and big 4 firms but it’s tough to make the switch without a referral. Anyone willing to help a sister out?!

For those of you who spent a long time in big law (at least 10 years but more along the lines of 15+), when did you know it was time to do something else (maybe in the law, maybe not)? I don’t know if it’s wfh or just the work now, but I’m finding myself getting amazingly frustrated at things that barely bothered me before. I had an argument with opposing counsel last week and was seeing red for hours after that, and little things seem to bother me much much more than they would have before

What changes, if any, did you make to your resume for MBA applications compared to your “normal” resume? Did you change your resume at all based on specific schools? This was recommended to me but I feel like it is a huge waste of time and energy that is better spent elsewhere.
