How's Aviva life insurance project in tcs?
Hi! I was wondering if any of you wonderful people know how one can learn more about UX design/engineering. Currently a software engineer but always wanted to see if UX fit my interests more (was a digital media design major in college and wanted a way to stay in tech but use my creative side in my career more). Any books, courses, etc are appreciated. I heard degreeless.design was good but compiling a list right now to plan it all out. Thank you:)
Same here. How it works is you give them the 2 weeks. Even though they expect you to do 4. They fire you before those first two weeks are up. How it always goes.
My last firm had thirty days. When I gave them notice, they laughed at the thought of staying that long. Agreed upon about two weeks to wrap up a few things. It'll work itself out. It's at will in any case. You can quit today and not go in tomorrow and they can't do anything.
worst case is they code you as a no-rehire
Ask them to waive it. I did and my firm was happy to not have to pay me for extra time.
Why can’t you give notice this week? Sounds like you’re in the clear
Dont do this. You could lose benefits!
A policy is a guideline. Give two weeks. Don't let them push you into staying longer!!!
