🥺Want some suggestion for busy season!
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Why not take a week off before you put In notice
Rising Star
How many weeks notice are you giving? Because if you’re on vacation for the last one, then you’re giving whatever you tell them minus 1.
Check your policy. Generally there is something about not being able to use pto during your notice period.
Give notice while on FTO
Why do you care if they are OK with it?
Likely worried about losing one week pay.
GT won’t approve FTO after you put in your notice. At least that was the policy that was in effect when I left. That said—it’s not 100% firm. I gave them 4weeks notice and my team honored my pre-scheduled time off
From what I’ve seen, they just push up your separation date.
If you'd rather take it than have them pay it out that's a better deal for them so Id assume theyd be ok with it

Unlimited PTO? It benefits the firm because they don’t pay out when people leave and the culture of not taking much vacation doesn’t change.
@OP, policy specifically is you can’t be on FTO during your 2 weeks notice. It’s loosely applied based on office location, and up to HR though.
GT will not approve it. Additionally any FTO that was approved prior to your notice that would fall out during your 2 weeks will not be honored.
Well yeah…that’s why give notice on your last day of FTO then have the 2 weeks 😂
I did the same..took 1 week off (2 week notice, 3rd week PTO). As long as your manager is OK with it and HR is aware you should be good. For us, last day cannot be PTO or Holiday so I used that day just to do some admin stuff (exit interviews/return equipment etc.)
Take two weeks
I really hope you're not in the GBA office! lmfaooooo
