I've been a yeild analyst at a big publisher the last 8 months. I'm taking on work beyond me role and excelling. I love my workplace and team, and this place sets me up for the career trajectory I want.
Another offer fell into my lap recently, 20% more pay, better benefits, 100% remote, and I'd get experience trading. Despite only having 8 months of programmatic and some media buying down, I was offered a senior role, that I don't feel I know enough to be effective at. Am I overthinking this?

I started a new job and at the same time entered a depressive episode coupled with an unhealthy and stressful new living situation. The end result has been a terrible performance review that I’m worried is going to follow me around in this job. I’ve already put in for emergency time off and I go to therapy, but I don’t know what else to do. I can’t seperate what’s mental health and what’s actually wrong/what I have control over anymore.

So I am a W-2 salaried CFP at a small IRA and I have a neighbor who runs his own practice and asked if I knew anyone who would be looking for part time paraplanning work. After thinking about it I got to wondering if its compliant and okay for an advisor to do something like that on the side for extra income or would that be considered a conflict on interest as an OBA?

Anyone else have trouble sleeping through the night? I’ve tried everything I can think of: melatonin, magnesium, weighted blanket, fan to keep the room cool, don’t drink caffeine, stop eating and drinking even water about 2 hours before bed. When I wake up I don’t feel the need to do anything (restroom, etc) but I also can’t get back to sleep. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, I feel like I’m being punkd every morning at 3am 😭

I'm on intermittent FMLA. When I come back, I'm moving to off shift. I was a dept lead and was led to believe I would continue in this role. My boss announced in a group meeting before I left that my supervisor role would be opened the day I come back. She said she "changed her mind".
