Have tried the Mont Blanc electronic diary and also the Moleskin one. I’ve come to the conclusion there’s nothing that beats the good old fashioned pen and paper. I find myself retaining more from the pen and paper mode more than the electronic one. But am old and you could attribute that to the passing years

If you've got Outlook and OneNote installed on the same machine, open up the meeting in Outlook and you should see an option on the ribbon to take notes (shows up with OneNote logo). Click on that and it'll start a OneNote page complete with meeting details and agenda filled out.

If it is a dial in meeting using Skype, it'll also check off the attendees as they dial in (as long as they do so using the Skype client).

Goodnotes on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. The OCR is rock solid so notes and back up PDFs are fully searchable. You can copy and export as ascii text

It’s proven that handwriting notes helps you retain more than typing notes. I used good old fashioned pen and paper.

Evernote. It’s a free software or if you feel so inclined, you can pay $10 a month for premium. Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile, totally universal and great. Can’t live without it

A manager I know swears by the iPad pro (with Apple pencil). You can handwrite notes and then the software turns it into a file. Particularly useful if you need to add arrows or any other in your shapes during a meeting. Same for reviewing decks.
