Just started a new role in PE IR and feeling really out of my depth. I recently discovered that I am being placed in a band of 1-2 years in role because I made a switch from operations to product. My colleagues are making 20-30% more than I am and we have similar output. Part of the management perspective is that I have adequate stock value and that switching into product means that I do not have my prior experience packaged into my banding. Suggestions needed: I have a student who loves to fold paper airplanes, you name it... He tries to do it all day long. He is a BD/LD student who usually refuses to do any work. Offering him time to fold the paper as an incentive does NOT work - he folds it regardless of whether he should or not.
