Should I take this new job?

Been at current agency for a year, loved it and love my team. Pros: Benefits are great, as is the mentorship and work is generally quite stable. Cons: Lower paid

The new agency is smaller and benefits aren’t as good but I’ll get a +45% pay increase and title bump. Work is different to what I’m used to which is both exciting and daunting (imposter syndrome will no doubt kick in!).

Ideal situation would have been to stay in current role another year or two... help!

So I've been working at my company for going on 5 yrs. Not the same role, switched to one more suited to my abilities a year ago. This was lateral. I've absolutely excelled and its recognized by management. However they only make non committal promises to a title bump and raise. My review is coming up. I'm thinking at the end of Q1 leaving if i dont get a solid promotion and raise. Is that a fair expectation?

Hey all, I'm approaching my 1yr anniversary in my current role, and I'm curious of what I should expect in terms of a raise.

I started at $57k base last year, with OTE of $70k

I received a small raise at the start of this year, along with a new comp plan so current numbers are $59k base and ~$80k OTE.

This role is in a life sciences vertical. SDRs in this vertical w/ a year of experience average 60-70k base.

I'd like to land at $65k, thoughts?

I'm having a difficult time finding a new position.

I've had interviews but, the main challenges are not hearing back from recruiters even after several rounds of interviews, discovering during interviews that a role does not fully match the description posted etc. Otherwise, I'm simply not hearing back from others despite revising my resume multiple times and submitting cover letters. Really trying not to settle for a role but it seems I may have to. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Potentially dumb question but I’m doing a backdoor Roth conversion using Schwab and I added my 6000 for the year to my traditional IRA and want to convert it now without buying anything (keeping as cash) so I don’t have to deal with taxes or a loss before year end on the conversion. My question is, once I convert all of the cash to my Roth IRA from the traditional IRA can I buy stocks with that money? Journalism is the best job in the world but I feel like people are less likely to take my work seriously because I am female. Curious how prior experience/transferable skills plays in to comp? When decided to get out of people leadership and move to a recruiter role a year ago was brought in as an “associate” since didn’t have the required year of full cycle recruiting. Virtusa purposely gave me offer one night before LWD on the name of approvals and I didnt get time to revise other lower offers of
1. Wipro - 15 lpa (13.5 lac fix + 1.5 lac var)
2. TCS - 18 lpa (16.2 fix + 1.8 var)
3. UBS - 18 lpa fix (No var).. not considered due to support proj

I asked 22 fixed to Virtusa but they gave 20 without seeing my offers, did I make good choice overall?
