I am looking. To accept a position out of state within my company. The position is posted and I am very likely to get the job .it would be an internal transfer. The recruiting HR told me that me that I am the top candidate but I shouldn’t expect relocation package . They would just give little something to help with the move. Should I push to get the relocation package or just be happy with what they give me.

I once asked a colleague at a radio company how much he's paid monthly, and he outright refused to tell me. In fact, he found it very odd that I asked. I later learned that he was making double my salary. I know it's not an employee's job to fix pay inequity by sharing their salary figures, but I'm still of the opinion that it helps uncover pay gaps. But do you think it's wise to do so at the risk of damaging your work environment or the whole thing backfiring on you? Thoughts are welcome.

It's annoying that most job postings that require you to have experience and proficiency in two languages always offer waaaaay less than the average salary for the level. 🙄

As a product designer starting a new role, what should my 30, 60, and 90 day goals look like?

I started at a US-based company about 3 weeks ago in a permanently remote role based out of Canada. Since it is a remote job, I planned to visit my family in December who stay in another country and continue working from there as per my current time zone for a couple of weeks. My manager shot down this plan saying I’m too new to make this work and I should have told this before I joined, he’d have delayed my joining. Am I being unreasonable in my request?
