Hi all, I have a final round of interview at Meta for a PM position and the HR told me that I would be assigned an existing PM to help me prep better and to ask any questions about the next rounds. Unfortunately she has not assigned anyone yet after multiple follow ups and I have my interview on Monday. Could anyone guide me on what I should do? Should I be raising this during my interview?

I'm considering pivoting to copywriting because that's the part of my role I'm best at -- a lot of the account management stuff is draining, but I can whip out social and marketing copy quickly & I enjoy it. Wondering if anyone has insight / leads on making the jump from accounts to the copy side when applying for jobs? 5 YOE, 3 in-agency with a mix of automotive and pharma + a side gig as a published author with muliple books (hoping that'll help on the creative / copy end?) Does IT companies fake job roles like they show development role while attending interview but after joining they give support.Why they don't hire separately for support?Is this because nobody wants to work in support they make job description attractive to make employees join?

I got an opportunity from Axtria as a Senior Associate/ Lead - BIM. BIM is one of the Axtria's business vertical.

I've cleared all rounds of interviews including final HR round and salary discussion and at last HR told me that he will get back to me with next steps. It's been over a week, I did not get any response. I have called HR and he said he is checking with internal team and getback to me.

Anyone from Axtria or past employees have any idea for this kind of situation?

It appears what I thought would be possible was wrong. Everyone celebrated thinking I’d figured it out, including me. Were spinning up a full team to build it and I’ve exhausted all avenues to find an alternative solution. There isn’t. Horrified this is a career limiting situation….

OK gonna maybe open a can of worms here but I have to ask: it seems the sudden inflation we're seeing has taken the ins. ind. by surprise. The cost/expense projections done X yrs. ago for this and poss'y subsequent yrs. have been thrown off. Costs to repair/replace cars have shot up unexpectedly. Same for houses. Med costs have all gone up. Ins. cos. have relatively thin profit margins to begin with. There's talk of cost-cutting measures-- incl. layoffs. How realistic are these concerns?

I made the switch from marketing to PR this year. I basically went from having 15 years of experience to being a newbie in a different subject matter. I miss creative development for ads/web/video, having more tactics to integrate into strategies, and the leadership opportunities I had managing junior team members. I don’t miss 50+ work weeks and measuring success from my stress level. I like my team, but I feel underutilized. Should I sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride for a few years?
