I am looking to start contracting as I come from a delivery background where I have done a lot of business analysis, portfolio management, project management and program management.
How do I look for contracts?

In the process of being promoted @B4 but I don’t like the people I work for and I’m on the project from hell. The promo has taken so long that I’ve looked elsewhere despite it being my 2nd promo in 3 years. I haven’t had much traction until this past week where I was approached by 4 recruiters with really compelling roles (including FAANG). I know it doesn’t hurt to talk to them but am I an ass for excepting the promo while continuing to look/possibly exiting in the near future?

They just offered her 7k more than what I make. She acts as a support to TA while I do full cycle direct hire & manage a 50+ contractor workforce managing about 30 open reqs at one time.
