I am loosing my job and feeling lost, demotivated and depressed. Has this ever happened to you?

My spouse is in better shape and is healthier than me. Can anyone relate? Does this bother anyone? I’ve tried so hard to look better but my emotional toll is working overtime. I weigh more than my husband by 10 lbs.

Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? I feel devoid of hope. No one is wearing masks even though there’s evidence that they work, and we can return to a semblance of normalcy with them. Most of my friends are going out to eat, even health professionals. I’m scared about my parents health, the economy, everything. I recently graduated and I thought that this year would be the year I would shape my life into what I want. Now I don’t know if I can look forward to anything, and all the uncertainty clouds it all.

NOT Preaching Alert🚨 but folks on work visa in US, I know its very confusing and uncertain environment that’s increasing our anxiety everyday BUT remember that when you came here you didn’t have anything and most likely have earned/learned so much in terms of education, experience, cultural values, and money ofcourse that it must have prepared you for other options if things don’t work out here. Don’t lose heart and take one day at a time. You got this! We will survive.

Thinking of breaking up with my long term boyfriend but have gained 50lbs in the 6 years we have been together and terrified no one else will find me attractive or love me at this weight… especially since the 25lbs I gained during quarantine last 1.5 years has already strained this relationship where he already loved me.

During the last few months I’m down 20 lbs mainly from increased activity ...taking walks outdoors etc, eating a bit healthier and drinking more water. Self care for me is easier when at home. I’m looking to lean out some more and considering Keto. Has anyone done keto for ~ 2-4 weeks, lost some weight then managed to maintain after going back to carbs and balancing diet and exercise? Not sure I can maintain carb-free forever ...TIA.

Hi, I’m 30yrs old and by next week I will be 31yrs old. Got married 2 yrs ago and we have been trying for kids from past 7 months but no luck, we try to have sex almost all 7 days of fertile window.
