I'm rejected in the final interview round of VmWare. I had never been rejected in a final round of the interview process before. They asked some networking and C language based questions which I studied 6 years ago in college. I have other offers in hand. But I saw good reviews about this company. Have been working in b2b marketing, with role focused on content, field(events) and account based marketing. 4+ years of exp overall and 3 years in marketing. Academic credentials are good, top btech and b school. The catch is that I quit recently. Just couldn't stand it and was unable to manage time to look for jobs. Will i be able to get a job? In house/corporate paralegals: how did you get your start? Have you been in house since day 1? Particularly interested to hear from those who made the switch from litigation in a law firm. I have 10 YOE in litigation, but it doesn’t seem to be translating well. Every in house posting I find requires 5-10 years in house experience. Has anyone navigated their way around this?

Average EOY bonus amount for a litigation paralegal working in biglaw? My firm is super cagey about how it’s calculated, trying to get a sense of the norm.

I joined a corporate firm as a multi year experienced paralegal. It seems however that I am not necessarily welcome by other paralegals in the Dept., a few negative comments to partners about me. Obtaining assignments feels much like a popularity contest. Any advice on overcoming the negative vibes? My fear is that there is a negative reflection about me and the managing partner doesn't seem open to me, even though I haven't had the opportunity to work for him or the others yet.

An example: I gave some ideas about deposition questions and some observations I made (I was asked about giving suggestions) regarding a witness and the attorney mentioned that he’s the one that had these great questions/observations. I’m a 23yo female legal assistant working/living in Canada. I am completing my BA in hopes of continuing with law school after. But, I just turned 23 and I’m anxious about my love life and starting a family. I haven’t had a boyfriend since 2019 and I’ve poured my heart and soul into my education & career.
