Have you interviewed for a job where you haven’t even spoken to the recruiter? At this company I’ve dealt with the interview scheduler, hiring manager and even a panel for my second interview with the director and another senior manager…but no recruiter.
I reached out, but still nothing…so I don’t even know the real comp, benefits or specifics of this job. Has anyone encountered this? I’m thinking I’d speak to the recruiter once an offer is made.
I have taken 4 technical and 1 manager(final round) round in company A and currently awaiting their response.Company A entire process took 5 months.
In between I got an offer from company B and currently serving notice.
Can I inform Company A about serving notice period?

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? I am trying to move to Houston but I don’t want to move until I am confident I can obtain a position in the city before packing up and leaving.

Looking for a District Manager in Sales, I’ve been working for T-Mobile for quite sometime. I work for a huge company for 11 years and haven’t been happy for a while. I feel emotionally attached to it because of great benefits, my growth (had multiple roles) and overall culture. Leaving it feels almost like ending a marriage (nuts, right?). Have you ever felt this way about your career before? I’ve seen people leaving and regretting it and seen people leaving and telling me there’s life post XYZ company.
I’d appreciate any thoughts and reading your pov.

When people add percents to their resume, where are they pulling the numbers out of? Like for example reduced costs by $xxx, xxx , or improved performance by 20%, or increased revenue by 15%? If you’re just fixing tickets and working on product feature enhancements (what I’m primarily doing), where do you get the numbers to put on your resume from? I haven’t updated my resume yet to include my current and first job, so it’s gonna be the first relevant work experience I put on there
Say you’re 27 with 200k in cash to spend/invest. What would be the best use of capital? To provide some framework: factor in the cost of a wedding, no property yet (renting), and no debt.
I’d personally be inclined to put $150k down for a mortgage and use the rest for wedding/retirement. (Assuming the spouse contributes to wedding as well)
Among all big fours I've heard only EY having bad work life balance. How true it is?
I've heard from friends who are already working with EY.
