There’s a lot of fluff that you need to filter out, but the earlier articles are good and there are some good fundamental concepts

I don't feel like you need a FA if you read through the blogs/listen to podcasts. There are lots of tips on how to find good Investments, (and a lot of VTSAX fans).

What are the best resources to get started with to educate myself? I'm currently listening to the Stacking Benjamin's podcast. Any others you'd recommend?

Thanks! Yes I've heard MMM is great for frugality tips. Definitely the first step for me in the journey

I’ll finish my Master’s in Engineering Management in 1 year. How do I land a management level role at a tech company without management exp?

Rejection timeline?

I had a final virtual interview today with two managers (virtual position).

I usually assume the worst and think the interview went okay. There are some things that could've gone better but I don't want to dwell on them.

After the interview, I emailed my recruiter and asked for the managers' emails. I got even more anxious waiting for his response so I ended up finding them anyways and sending them thank-you notes. I interviewed on a Friday afternoon. Am I overthinking?

Hi, I have been with big 4 consulting for past 10 years. I am in talks with Novartis india on salary part. May I know how much one can expect for a BA role?

I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

I need more insight. I just got done with my on-site interview (flew 1,000 miles) they paid for everything. I had interviews with the director, CNO, and fellow managers. The CNO was fourth coming with all information and said they would develop me to reach my career goals. The managers were telling me the good school districts etc. and we’re agreeing with my answers during the interview. I’m probably going to end up over analyzing everything until I hear back. Any thoughts?

I am going to get a large bonus where after tax, I'll get a couple hundred thousand.

Should I prioritize pay off all credit cards or pay down half/some of the cards and use the rest for a house down payment?
