I am new to the HR industry, with 1 year of experience in a Junior HR Consulting role (in Ontario). I am currently making $40,000 annually and have recently inquired about a raise. They have been dragging their feet on getting back to me with a $ amount. Thoughts on how much I should be asking for? Thanks

I received a verbal offer for a Sr UX role at RBC last Monday. I haven’t received the written offer yet. Hiring manager said it’s going through the approval process, currently waiting for the second approval.

Is this normal? Should I be concerned? It’s been over a week and I haven’t received a written offer for the role.

I am being considered for an Executive Assistant role with a salary budget of $80k - $100k at a Private Equity firm. (I would be reporting to a Sr. Managing Director.)

I have 8 years of work experience in various fields:
3 years of Managing a department
5 years of Executive Support, Office Management (CFOs, VPs, Directors)

Currently at 75k, I feel qualified but what is a realistic salary range I should ask for? $100k would be great, just don’t want to seem greedy.

I have a date I need to match to an array of strings (that represents dates). Eg matching 6 nov 20 to (20201106, 20201107, etc. ). I can convert my date into this format using text(date,”yyyymmdd”) but then my lookup tried to match “20201106” with that list and the “ causes a mismatch. Any hints, and I would prefer not to change the array format?

Hi! I am at the case study stage for a role at a company that is UK-based. I am in the US and I'm not sure how salary should compare. The role is slightly junior to my current role, so I am expecting lower comp, however it is SIGNIFICANTLY lower (50% less than what I currently make).

The role and the company are exciting, I've loved my discussions with the manager...would I be crazy to consider that much of a pay cut?

Are the benchmarks so different between UK and US that this is reasonable?

I received and offer that’s low because I’m not within 50 miles of the office.
