I am newly in a wheelchair and am unable to find clear information on the ADA website about what my job is required to do. I’ve talked with my Union Rep and they are checking. I’m requesting to be on a 504 plan, but I have no idea if they are required to add handicapped entrances or not. I know I have to scan my badge to use the button, but trying to scan my badge, open the door, and not drop anything seems a bit unattainable to me at the moment. Anyone have some insight or dealt with this?
