That’s what you get for putting a lawyer with no real life banking experience in to this role. Federal experience shouldn’t be the only qualification.

Also we need a new generation of leaders. The guy is 70 Yellen is 75. The system is vastly different now to when they started out.

General question about LinkedIn, but I figured recruiters may have a better perspective.

Is it really beneficial to have a LinkedIn premium account over the regular free account? I’m currently looking for opportunities and wondering if it really will make a difference to pay the price and subscribe to the premium account.
Can anyone recommend if, and how it will, or will not help?

I left an agency job that I loved for “my dream job” in-house. It’s been a few months, but I’m really missing my old job. I feel silly for leaving it, esp because I’m realizing my “dream job” isn’t doing it for me, despite it paying much more than my old job. What do I do?

I have a general question regarding finances in respect to marriage. Im engaged to be married in 2 months. My soon to be husband makes less than me, is working on fixing his credit, and is not the best with money management but I am more than willing to help him with all of this. I do see this marriage as long term. How should I manage bank accounts? I do want to keep some savings separate as well as joint. Any experiences? Advice?

Is there a general expectation that a Partner has an MBA?

I doubt it's required at most firms but I'm a pretty senior staff and when I speak with Partners, they seem to speak with an MBA level of business knowledge which extends past their technical skillset.

I realize that's what makes them good Partners but it makes me wonder if I realistically need to get an MBA to keep growing and hit Partner.

I’ve been asked to serve as chair for a non-profit. I don’t have time and this is a dysfunctional board (many board members with a tie to the mission of the organization but w/o relevant experience). However, there aren’t many options and I feel obligated. I’m considering it, *if* I can put some guardrails in place to minimize the dysfunction and stay out of the weeds. That’s a huge if. Any advice?

Do folks have trusted/valuable resources for researching luxury family travel with young kids? I don’t care the cost, I want to know what is most convenient and nice for my family. Feel like generally most resources are geared to either a) families on a budget (I don’t care which hotel is best bang for buck w/mid breakfast) or b) couples / adults only travelers.
